Portraits : Detritus
This is and ongoing project that I have been working on for about three years. These individual bits of flora are all found objects. Many are at the end of their life cycle and are either on the ground (mostly) or hanging from the main plant. I take them home and clean them a bit then “pose” them and light them against a black background with studio lighting.
